Children's Theatre Camp

This year, Purchase Players embarks on its sixth annual Children’s Theatre Camp.

In this two-week camp, children ages 6 to 12 will experience and learn about the various elements of theatre. They will receive instruction in the performance aspect and have the opportunity to perform on stage, as well as getting hands-on and learning about the technical side, learning the basics of lights, sound, set, costumes, and makeup.

The camp will culminate in three performances that highlight the skills they have developed. If children are interested in theatre, but are not so keen on performing they can be an "apprentice" to one of the specific technical aspects that most interest them.

The camp fee is $50. This fee will cover a camp t-shirt, theatrical resources, and a daily snack. Space is limited, so get your applications in as soon as possible—no later than May 15.
