How do I audition?
Audition dates will be published in the Mayfield Messenger, various social media platforms and on this website. Auditions will normally be held on the Monday and Tuesday evening following the first weekend performance of the preceding production. At auditions the director will have those wishing to participate read lines from the play. The director will be looking for a sense of character, expression, diction, vocal projection and general acting ability and will assign parts based on these assessments. If you are auditioning for a musical you should be prepared to sing a song from the show. No experience is necessary and everyone is welcome!
